Baby Caught After Falling from Basketball Stadium

Today, around 2:30 A.M., an infant was caught after falling from the inside roof of Wanapum City University's Basketball Stadium. Reports say that Hyrpo, the six day old infant child, accidentally had her Joysco Hover-Sleeper device activated during a Wanapum Crows basketball game against the Primeston Illuminatis. Janitor of the basketball stadium, and avid Crows fan, Carl Monetion was interviewed on the events that took place the following night.

"I was scraping the jelly slicker (shoe slicker) off of the gym floor like I do every night, and I looked up and I saw a baby falling very slowly from the roof of the building. I figured that the baby had it's hover thing enabled and I thought she was a little young for that sort of thing. So, I just got underneath where she was falling and caught her. I called the police shortly after I caught her."

After a thorough investigation into the matter, police have said that the Hover-Sleeper was activated when the mother of the child bumped the start-up button with her elbow as she was standing up to cheer for the Wanapum Crows. Police have not yet been able to locate the mother, or anyone that was watching last night's Crows game in fact. Police chief Ryan Wiggington was interviewed this morning.

"We know how bad the Crows are doing this season, but last night's game was sold out. There had to have been an audience at that game. We will keep looking for the people that bought tickets, but the mother of this child is our top priority."

When searching through the sale records from Wanapum City University Stadium, the police found lists of names for people who bought tickets. Upon contacting these people, each one claimed to have sold the tickets just prior to the game's start. They said that they had been called to work on an emergency just hours before the game was set to begin, and they figured that they would not be home in time to get ready for the basketball game.

Currently, six-day-old Hypro is in police custody. She is set to be released once the police investigators are able to get her to tell them her mother's name. She has been reluctant as to her personal information as of yet. More on this story as it develops.
